Grogue is a traditional alcoholic drink from Cape Verde with 43%  Vol. It is derived from the fermentation of sugar cane liquid, equivalent to brandy or cachaça. Produced by hand in alembic stills, it is an essential part of Cape Verdean culture and is especially appreciated on the island of Santo Antão.
